Last month was a month of struggles with Natalie in regards to food. At the beginning of January she had a cold and started throwing up. I thought that she was throwing up her rice cereal because of the cough she had. I waited a little over a week after she was over her cold to restart the rice cereal. And up it came a little while later. We would try about once a week to see if she could keep it down. She could not.
I Googled what I thought it was. Eventually I called the on call pediatrician one night after her episode. He said what I thought...that Natalie might be allergic to rice cereal. Natalie doesn't show any typical allergy symptoms, but she will throw up the rice cereal 2 hours after eating it and have diarrhea for the next few days afterwards. We will confirm our thoughts/suspicions with Natalie's pediatrician later this month.
The on call pediatrician said we could start the "yellow" vegetables.

Natalie started sweet potatoes...can you tell???

The first few days were rough, but now she loves her sweet potatoes.
