All things summer

Natalie loves to help her daddy mow the lawn!
Summer yummies!
It's a good thing that we love fresh homegrown tomatoes in our house!

Lewis Family Reunion

In July we had our annual Lewis Family Reunion at Bear Lake. We had lots of fun in the sun, sand, and storms with our family and cousins.
On Friday evening there was a treasure hunt for the grandkiddos.
Natalie with some of her spoils.
Saturday we spent the day on the beach playing in the water and riding a waverunner. Grandma decided to do some "yardwork" to make it easier for the grandkids to get to the water.
Natalie played in the sand with Grandpa.
And also splashed in the water with Daddy.
We made Bear Lake Buddies - Bud and Betty.
Natalie was such a trooper in camping!
Thanks for the wonderful weekend Grandma and Grandpa Lewis!

4th Fun

Our 4th of July was filled with fun as usual.
Watching the parade with Daddy.
We can add clowns and walking inflatable firemen to the list along with Santa and the Easter bunny that Natalie doesn't like.
Playing on Grandma and Grandpa Reading's water slide later that day.

"I Busy" -Natalie

We've been busy....living life!

In the last month we have:

Gone to the zoo with Maddie, Max, and Keri
Helped Daddy wash cars
Tried to put on lipstick ourselves

I don't know if Natalie will start doing the famous "why" questioning that most toddlers do (and I hope I'm not jinxing myself by mentioning that), but Natalie has her own version of that question that she asks over and over and over. She constantly asks "Wha' doin'?" even if you just told her what you are doing mere seconds ago. It can be annoying sometimes, but most times we find it funny and turn the question back on her.

Natalie has been becoming more independent in the things that she does. Which this saddens me because then I stop and look at her and realize that she is no longer my little baby but a toddler instead. She will forever be my little baby though!

Us 2 and U2

Tuesday evening we were able to go to the amazing U2 concert. We were able to get into the inner circle (between the stage and a walkway for the band) thanks to our friends who got there earlier in the day to save us spots in line. It was such a fun concert and evening! It was great going with our group of friends. So many laughs were had within our group because of the people around us.

Thanks Chris and Alisha for letting us come!

And a big special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Reading for watching Natalie so we could go!

Not As It Appears

So, you see that green thing in Natalie's left nostril?

Can you guess what it is?

I'll give you a hint...

It's not a booger...

...yep...it's a pea!

Natalie decided after dinner last night to place some of her remaining peas up her nose.
I squished out 3...
Then she sneezed out 2 more...
And then there was this last one that took more effort in getting it out.

Yep, people...that's a total of 6...count them SIX peas shoved up that little girl's nose.

It made me have flashbacks of when I was younger and babysitting and one of the little girls stuck chalkboard chalk up her nose to see if it would fit.

Silly Natalie...peas aren't for noses!

Oh the joys of parenthood!
