Over Conference weekend we had to replace our tree in the front yard. It died last summer and needed to be replaced. It was kind of sad because after 5 years it was beginning to be a decent size and shape.
Natalie loved digging in the dirt and helping Daddy.
We bought an Oklahoma Redbud and are excited to see it grow in our yard. I will take pictures of our new tree when it starts blossoming.

From all of the wet heavy snow on Conference Sunday, we had lots of damage to our trees -- broken branches that were twice as big as the tree that you replaced.
All of our (your) hard work in planting and growing the trees and this is what happens. Sigh.
