On Friday, Natalie and I met Mike for lunch at Carl's Jr.
I had a yummy Bacon Guacamole Burger. I thought that the sauce on it was a bit spicy, but didn't think much about it since nothing I have eaten so far has seemed to effect Natalie.
Then comes Saturday evening....
I was changing Natalie and as I was wiping her, she screamed like she's never screamed before. Looking a little closer I noticed that her entire little bum was bright red. Natalie's first diaper rash. Poor little girl! So for the next little while we are washing the alcohol out of the wet-wipes and using Desitin until it is healed.
Natalie's new enemy.....Carl's Jr. Bacon Guacamole Burger.

Not gonna lie, I am a little slow and it took a few brow-wrinkled seconds for me to connect your spicy burger to poor Natalie's bum rash. Poor thing.

so sad!!! i've forgotten about how much the breastmilk can affect their little tummies in the beginning! i don't remember it happening at the end, but i may just not have been paying attention any more by then;-) i'm all about letting me not wear a diaper when they have a diaper rash. when it's warm out, take her out into the sun today with an old blanket or towel and let her just lay their without a diaper. not having anything on and some fresh air WORKS MIRACLES!!!
Whoops. Looks like I may have put a jinx on you when I asked you the other day if anything had affected her. Poor little lady! Hope she gets feeling all better soon :)
I wish that I had read your blog before last night when we (your Papa and I) grabbed a Bacon Guacamole Burger at Carl's Jr. last night as we dashed off to the finance class we are taking.
While I won't be getting diaper rash, thank goodness, (I'm not into Depends just yet . . .) my stomach sure rebelled at 2:00 a.m. this morning!!!
